Digitalization plays a crucial role in today’s society and is both an opportunity and a challenge. For the logistics industry specifically, the thrive towards digitalization means a high demand for real-time information. Offergeld’s customers rely on accurate information on the whereabouts of their goods and a precise ETA to ensure their products are being delivered on time. If shipments are delayed and the supplier is unable to meet the scheduled delivery date or time slot, this may result in a significant financial loss. Small, light, powerful – Why Kizy makes a difference

In order to provide its customers with a permanent overview of shipments and their processing status, the logistics expert uses track & trace technologies. However, the IoT tracking solution Offergeld had previously worked with was not ideal. Offergeld was looking for a device that was handier and lighter than the ones used before. This is where Kizy Tracking caught their attention: small, smart, energy efficient, and optimally suited to Offergeld’s application. A tracking solution that operates without GPS and still delivers accurate data by gathering position data based on globally available mobile networks and local WiFi. 

Offergeld ordered their first test trackers at the beginning of 2020. Convinced by the trial run, Offergeld deploys about 400 trackers today. Tracking has become much easier these days: together with the dispatch papers, subcontractor drivers are given an extra envelope containing the activated Kizy tracker. The tracking data is immediately made available to Offergeld clients via individual interfaces or direct reporting metrics in customer systems. After delivery, the driver simply drops the stamped and pre-addressed envelope with the tracker into a mailbox. It is then mailed back to Offergeld, ready to be used for a new mission. 

As for the future, Offergeld appreciates the ease of scaling Kizy for fast-growing processes. If required, the number of trackers can be expanded without a problem, as no additional infrastructure is required. This allows a maximum of reliability that their customers’ needs are covered at any time.
